1979 CUSTOM CORSAIR MK I

Designed and built by Salthouse Marine, approximately 1979. Solid GRP construction, 12.20LOA, 4.0m beam. Shaft drive, powered by Caterpillar 3208 - 210hp diesel giving 11-15 knots at approx. 12LPH at 9.5 knots. The accommodation is well designed with the head/shower forward 6'2' headroom, 2 double and 3 single berths. Midships galley with very tidy saloon area and helm station. The vessel has a flybridge with all the controls etc. but not closed in. Current owner drives from the saloon helm, as very comfortable. She has plenty of room in the cockpit and duck board for all manner of water activities. This vessel was reputedly owned by Auckland Harbour Board as a survey vessel, hence she was built accordingly with a reported engine rebuild approx. 1987. The current owner is very fastidious in his maintenance program and keeps the vessel in good condition, but unfortunately has indicated it's time for a change.
