Description
FARR 38 Sailboat
This Farr 38 is designed for both coastal and offshore conditions, having recently sailed single-handed from South Africa. This makes her perfect for adventurous sailors. With her transom scoop, she would excel in local club racing and coastal cruising.
A well laid out cockpit with wheel steering and all sail handling lines leading aft, makes her ideal for short-handed or family sailing. 6 self-trailing cockpit winches and a furling genoa further assist with sail handling.
Below, there is plenty of seating around the saloon table, with a double V-berth up front and a toilet with hand shower to starboard. Aft are port and starboard quarter berths with the chart table to port and gally with double sink to starboard. She also has a 12V fridge with freezer, 2-burner stove with oven.
Electronic equipment includes VHF and SSB radios, Raymarine autopilot, instruments, Chartplotter, and radar. Power is through 2 solar panels on a solar arch, 4 house batteries, and 1 start battery.
Her safety equipment includes EPIRB, life raft (ood), life jackets, bilge pumps, and man-overboard rings with danbuoy.
She has been fully imported into New Zealand.
