Launched March 2025 and showcased at the Auckland On Water Boat Show, the Legacy 52 is a landmark achievement in New Zealand power catamaran design. Designed by Lomocean's Craig Loomes and built by Legacy Marine NZ to Lloyd's standard, this foil-assisted 15.7m powercat redefines offshore luxury performance. Twin Scania 800hp six-cylinder diesels with barely 80 hours deliver a 16-30 knot cruise and 35-knot top speed, backed by 5,000L fuel capacity for serious blue-water range. Weighing approximately 30 tonnes, this is a heavy-ship build engineered to handle open ocean conditions with confidence. Three well-appointed cabins accommodate owners and guests in style - a master with queen bed and ensuite, a queen guest cabin aft, and a forward bunk cabin. The helm station impresses with three 19" Simrad displays, Furuno radar, FLIR night vision, Dockmate docking system, Humphree trim tabs, autopilot, and Starlink. Aft galley features four-burner induction, full-height fridge-freezer, and slide-out pantry.
