Elixir is a 2007 Roger Simpson-designed fast cruising catamaran built in Taupo to survey standards, with final designs completed by High Modulus in Auckland. Featuring modern lines and practical cruising features including forward tramps, stepped access transoms and a beach-landing forward ladder, she was commissioned with simplicity and potential commercial use in mind - resulting in well-conceived systems ideal for single-handed sailing and easy maintenance. The GRP composite hulls and wing deck are oversized and robustly rigged, making her equally suitable for novice and experienced sailors alike. Below decks, Elixir offers 8 berths across two double cabins, a large single head with shower, galley-down layout, 12V fridge, and LPG stove with generous storage throughout.
