Description
This well designed Pelin Challenger was built by Dick & Dick and launched in 1990. The hull is GRP and she is powered by twin Detroit Diesel 250hp through shafts. She will cruise at in the range of 17-18 knots at 2200 RPM and max out at about 24 knots at WOT.
A large cockpit has been set up for fishing and includes game poles. It opens up to the good size saloon with port side galley aft and comfortable port side C Sofa. Starboard side is the lower helm, another sofa with the fridge and bar area to aft. Down forward is a double cabin to port, a twin cabin forward and the head with separate shower area to starboard.
The flybridge is well protected by canvas top and has excellent views. The bow has a crane to allow the dingy tender and outboard to be launched, adding to the overall usability of the vessel.
Good size tanks hold 850L of diesel, and 650L of water. New batteries were fitted in October 2024 and the EWOF was also renewed in 2024. An out of water insurance survey was done in April 2024. Plenty of other recent works done but the owner who has kept this fantastic NZ flybridge launch for the last 20 years.
